Club Championships 2019
Rules and Entrants
The Championships will be held under Swim England and Technical Rules of Swimming. Age groups are 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 & over. Ages as at 31st December 2020. Club swimmers may enter, swimmers from other clubs by invite only. Entry via hard copy application. See below.
Purpose
The championships enable swimmers of the club to compete and win awards, demonstrating their speed. Awards will be made to the fastest swimmers, in each age group in each event. Times that reach qualifying standard will be eligible for the County Championships held in 2020.
Entry Fees
Each race entered will cost £3.50. A discount will be offered to those who enter more races:
- 4 events £12
- 9 events £27
- 14 events £40
The long distance races will cost £4 each. If both the 1500m and 800m are entered, they will cost a combined fee of £6.
As the events have been spread over several months, the balance may be paid in two instalments, with 50% paid by the 23 June 2019 and the second payment made by the 15 September.
Payment may be via cash, cheque or PayPal (using the app - send money to paypal@owswimclub.org). Payment using credit cards at the front desk through PayPal is accepted.
